Exotic North East India Tour Package Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival at Kolkata

Your Exotic East tour begins with your arrival at the Kolkata airport, where you are greeted by our representative who will ensure that you get settled in your hotel comfortably.

Your afternoon is at leisure and you can make a visit to the local market on your own or with our representative.

You spend the night at Hotel Tulip Inn Kolkata to relax and be ready for the journey to Darjeeling next day.

Day 2 - Flight to Bagdora and drive to Darjeeling (90 kms/ 3 hrs)

After breakfast, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you with the checkout formalities and then later drive to the airport for your flight to Bagdora.

At the Bagdora airport, you will be warmly greeted by your personal chauffeur who will drive you to the town of Darjeeling.

On arrival at Darjeeling, our representative will assist you with the check in formalities and ensure that you get settled comfortably in your hotel room.

You spend the night at Hotel Sunflower to relax and be ready for the exciting sightseeing tour next day.

Day 3 - Exploring Darjeeling

Very early in the morning your chauffeur will drive you for an excursion to the Tiger Hill and the Ghoom Monastery to view the 3rd highest peak in the World – Kanchenjunga (28156 ft) and to see one of the largest statues of Maitreya Buddha respectively.

Later, after breakfast, you will be accompanied for a guided city tour covering places like Himalayan Zoological Park, Gumbu Rock Site, Himalayan Mountaineering Institutes and many more.

Day 4 - Sightseeing of Darjeeling

No activities or excursions are scheduled for this day. However, if you want, you can explore the city’s famous tea plantations and picturesque gardens on your own.

Day 5 - Drive from Darjeeling to Gangtok (95 Kms/ 3.5 hours

After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and drive to Gangtok.

On arrival at Gangtok, our representatives will ensure that you get settled in your hotel room after they’ve taken care of your check in formalities.

You spend the night at Hotel WhiteConch Residency to relax and be ready for the exciting sightseeing tour of the city next day.

Day 6 - Exploring Gangtok

After breakfast, you are greeted by your personal chauffeur and guide who will accompany you for a guided city tour covering places like the Tsuk la Khang, the Institute of Tibetology, Orchid Sanctuary, Enchey Monastery and many more.

Rest of the day is at leisure and you can plan it the way you want to.

Day 7 - Sightseeing in Gangtok

No activities or excursions are scheduled for this day. However, if you want, you can explore the city on your own.

Day 8 - Drive from Gangtok to Kalimpong (90 Kms/ 3 hours)

After leisurely breakfast, complete check out formalities after which you will drive to city of Kalimpong.

On arrival at Kalimpong, our representatives will ensure that you get settled comfortably in your hotel room.

Day 9 - Exploring Kalimpong

After breakfast, you are greeted by your personal chauffeur and guide who will accompany you for a guided city tour to places like the Zong Do Palri Fo Brang monastery consecrated by Dalai Lama, Thongspa Gompa – the oldest monastery in Kalimpong, the Sericulture Institute where one can actually see the weaving of silk and many more.

Explore a local market or visit a botanical garden; rest of your day is at leisure and you can plan it the way you want!

Day 10 - Drive to Bagdora (80 Kms/ 2 hours) and flight to Kolkata

After leisurely breakfast, do check out formalities and then drive to the Bagdora airport for your flight back to Kolkata.

On arrival at Kolkata, our representatives will ensure that you get settled comfortably in your hotel room.

The rest of your day is at leisure and you can plan the way you want.

Day 11 -Sightseeing in Kolkata and departure

After leisurely breakfast, you will be taken for a guided city tour by your chauffeur and guide covering places like the Victoria Memorial, the Birla Planetarium, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Indian museum and many more.

Later in the day, depending on your flight schedule, our representatives will help you with the checkout formalities and drive you to the airport in time for your flight home.
