Kerala Backwater and Baches Tour

Day 1 - Arrival at Cochin

Cochin is the starting point when you start your Beaches and Backwaters tour and our representative meets and greets you at the airport and ensures that you get settled in your hotel comfortably.

The rest of the time is spent at leisure.This free time can be utilized to explore local markets or enjoy facilities at the hotel.

Overnight at the Hotel Abad Atrium .

Day 2 - Sightseeing in Cochin

After breakfast, your full day tour starts by exploring this cherised destination of 16th century.First you will see Fort Kochi and the you will visit St. Francis church, The Dutch Cemetery, House Hunt, Santa Cruz Basilica and Hill Palace.

In the evening, if you wish, then your driver will take you out to enjoy a traditional Kathakali dance program.

You spend the night at the Hotel Abad Atrium to relax and be ready for the journey to Munnar next day.

Day 3 - Cochin to Munnar (150 Kms/ 5 hours)

After leisurely breakfast, you drive to Munnar and our representative will assist you with the checkin formalities once you reach your hotel at Munnar.

Rest of the day is at leisure and you can wander to view the mountains at the whole.

You spend the night at the Hotel Abad Copper Castle to relax and be ready for the exciting sightseeing tour next morning.

Day 4 - Sightseeing in Munnar

After breakfast, Visit famous places of Munnar like Attukal Waterfalls, Pothemadu Point, Mattupetty Dam, Eravikulam National Park and many more.

You spend the night at the Hotel Abad Copper Castle to relax and be ready for the journey to Madurai next day.

Day 5 - Munnar to Madurai (200 Kms/ 6 hours)

After an early breakfast and completing check out formalities, you are headed towards Madurai.

In the afternoon have a sightseeing of this historical city and visit the important landmark, Meenakshi Temple. It is said that no one calculate the dimensions of this temple. Once you have spent quality time here, visit Koodalazhagar temple which is very close to Meenakshi temple. The rest of time can be spent while visiting Tirumalai Nayak Palace, Gandhi Museum.

If you love shopping then colourful saris are a must take.

Overnight at the Hotel Park Plaza.

Day 6 - Madurai to Thekkady (150 Kms/ 5 hours)

After leisurely breakfast, you are headed towards Thekkady and our representative ensures that your room are kept ready once you reach your hotel.

In the evening enjoy boat ride at Periyar Lake to follow the wildlife.

Overnight at the Hotel Thekkady Woods.

Day 7 - Thekkady to Kumarakom (135 Kms/ 4 hours)

After leisurely breakfast , visit Periyar wild life sanctuary where you can see animals living in their natural habitat and be ready to take photos of wild elephants,boar,herd of deers, the great indian tiger.Later visit spice plantations.

Later you continue your drive to Kumarakom .

Rest of the day is at leisure and you can plan it the way you want. Of course, our representatives will be more than happy to tell about all the local places you should surely go to.

You spend the night at the Backwater Retreat Honeymoon House to relax and be ready for the journey to Kumarakom next day.

Day 8 - Exploring Kumarakom

No activities or excursions are scheduled for this day. The main attraction of Kumarakom is the backwater of Vembanad Lake. This to be experienced at one's leisure and choice. However, if you want, you can explore the Bird Sanctuary which is close to Vembanad Lake on foot and Bay Island Driftwood Museum.

You spend the night at the Backwater Retreat Honeymoon House to relax and be ready for the journey to Alleppey next day.

Day 9 - Kumarakom to Allepey (45Kms/ 1 hour)

After leisurely breakfast, you drive to Alleppey to board a private house boat for an overnight stay.It's another name is Alappuzha. The temptation of serene Alleppey is the backwaters and you can enjoy the natural beauty of the scenic islands.

Day 10 - Allepey to Cochin

After leisurely breakfast on the house boat which you have to check out at 12 Pm and later depending on your flight schedule, you will be greeted by our representatives to help you out with the checkout formalities, followed by your transfer to the Cochin Airport for your flight home
