Day 1 - Arrival at Chennai

Your South India tour of Tamil Nadu and Kerala begins with your arrival at the Chennai airport, where you are greeted by our representative who will ensure that you get settled in your hotel comfortably.

Your afternoon is at leisure and you can make a visit to the local market on your own or with your driver.

Day 2 - Chennai to Mahabalipuram ( 60 Kms)

After breakfast begin your guided city tour of Chennai covering places like the Fort of St. George, Fort Museum,St.Mary's Church,Basilica of Santhome. Do not forget to spend some quality time at the fabulous sandy Marina Beach which is the longest urban beach in the world.

Once you visited all these places and experienced Chennai, you continue your drive to Mahaballipuram. Once you arrive here and after comfortably settled into your hotel. Start your guided city tour of Mahaballipuram .

Mahabalipuram is famous for its rock-cut and monolithic monuments that represent the early stages of Dravidian architecture. They constitute cave temples, monolithic rathas (chariots), sculpted reliefs and structural temples.

Day 3 - Mahabalipuram-Kanchipuram-Mahabalipuram( 67 Kms)

After breakfast, Start your guided city tour of Kanchipuram at your leisure.

Another city famous for its Dravidian architecture and picturesque temples like the Kamakshi temple, Ekambareshwar Temple, Kailashanathar Temple and many more timeless attractions of this wonderful city.Kanchipuram has 108 Shaiva temples and 18 Vaishnavite temples which clearly divide this beautiful city into Shiva Kanchi and Vishnu Kanchi.

You spend the whole day here at Kanchipuram and later return to Mahabalipuram.

Day 4 - Mahabalipuram - Tanjore( 315 Kms)

After breakfast drive to Tanjore which is famous for its rich paintings and over the years it has witnessed a major contribution to its cultural and historic heritage .

Upon arrival get settled into your hotel and later visit Chola's grand Brihadishwara Temple, royal palace, Shivaganga Fort, Rajaram Museum, art gallery and Schwartz Church.

In the evening, step out at the local bazaar and buy Tanjore Paintings.

Day 5 - Tanjore - Madurai

After breakfast, you begin your journey to reach Madurai.

Day 6 - Sightseeing in Madurai and drive to Thekkady

After leisurely breakfast, your driver and guide will take you for a guided city tour of Madurai covering famous places like Meenakshi temple, Tirualai Nayak Mahal, Gandhi Museum, Koodal Azhagar temple and many more.

Later in the day, they will assist you with the checkout formalities and you drive to Thekkady.

In the evening, take a boat ride at Periyar Lake to view the exotic south India's wildlife scenes when elephants drinking water or playing at the edge of the river.

Day 7 - Game Safari in Periyar National Park

Day 9 - Exploring Kovalam

No activities or excursions are scheduled for this day. However, if you want, you can explore the city’s famous backwater lakes, lush paddy fields, Coconut trees and spice trails on your own.The main attraction of Kovalam is beaches which boast the most famous beaches. The Lighthouse Beach, Eve's or Hawa Beach, Ashok Beach and Samudra Beaches are the most sought beaches.You can also try to visit Vizhinjam, Chowara and Valliathura Pier fishing villages to delight yourself.

Day 10 - Kovalam to Alleppey (160 Kms/ 4 hours)

Day 11 - Alleppey to Cochin( 55 Kms / 1 Hour)

After leisurely breakfast on the house boat, you can enjoy the stunning and glorious views of backwaters and chinese fishing nets and need to leave houseboat to drive Cochin.

Upon arrival at cochin, get comfortably settled into your hotel.

Day 12 - Sightseeing in Cochin

After breakfast, A full day sightseeing tour of ancient and historic Kochi with your Tour Guide . Visit Fort Kochi which reminds you the bygone era of traders and warriors chosen this place automatically. Later you visit St.Francis' Church and protect the grave of Vasco da Gama.When you step out from the church, you see the Dutch Cemetery which enchant you with the dutch connection. Day 14 - Sightseeing in Mysore

After breakfast, You start your sightseeing by visiting The Mysore Palace which holds the visitors eyes since it reflects the glorious past of Mysore. It was built in 1912 and designed by British Architect Henry Irwin who contributed to ornate this by domes and colonnades. It is a home to art and antiques and also known as Mysore Palace. Just next to it, you visit Maharaja's Residence which has converted into a museum and a shelter of a great collections of art and artefacts. Once Visited , you move to explore the Rail Museum and St. Philomena's Church and Chamundeswari Temple.

Day 15- Mysore - Hassan ( 120 Kms)

After breakfast, drive to Hassan and on the way visit remarkable and exciting temples of Belur and Halebid. These two places are an excellent examples of Hoysala era temple architecture.

Chennakeshava is the main temple of Belur and was built in 1117 AD as a victory celebration and 100 years it took to complete.

The Hoysaleswara Temple is the principal attraction of Halebid which was built in 1152 AD.

Day 16 - Hassan - Hospet( 310 Kms/6 Hours)

After breakfast, drive to Hospet . It is very close to Hampi which is a heritage site .Hampi is a spectacular rock moulded land where every rock formation is remembering its own contribution.A capital of the imperial Vijaynagar Empire who ruled during 14th century.

Later a half day visit of Hampi is scheduled for you and you explore the ancient Virupaksha Temple, Vittala Temple and Kodanda Rama Temple.

Day 17 - Hospet - Bangalore ( 330 Kms/6 Hours)

After breakfast drive to Bangalore. In the afternoon take a half day tour of Bangalore covering places like the Bangalore Fort, Vidhan Saudha, the Bull Temple, Cubbon Park, Lal Bagh and many more.

Overnight at the Hotel Ramada Bangalore.

Day 18 - Departure from Bangalore

The morning is at leisure and you can make a visit to the local market .

Later in the day, depending on your flight schedule, you will be greeted by our representatives to help you out with the checkout formalities, followed by your transfer to the Bangalore airport for your flight home.
